After a fall, response time is critical for workers hanging for a prolonged period. This introduces a serious risk of Suspension Trauma. The WorkForce® advanced gyro/accelerometer detects a fall and automatically transmits an emergency alert without any action required by the worker. Immediate emergency notification facilitates a prompt rescue.
OSHA Fall Protection standard 1926.502 (d) (20) calls for the “prompt rescue” of employees in the event of a fall. WorkForce® goes beyond OSHA’s requirement and provides an immediate notification of a worker in distress. WorkForce® steps in when self-rescue is not an option.
