Build up or break down bulk loads without bending over. Ergo Equipment self-leveling loader/unloader units are meant for manual loading and unloading of parts and products from skids, pallets or bulk containers. The units are portable and can be used line side, shipping and receiving or anywhere that bulk loads need to be built or broken down. Ergo Equipment self-leveling loader/unloader units utilize extension springs to maintain an ergonomic platform level despite weight changes as parts or products are removed or added to the unit. A unique bearing system allows the lifting device to fully utilize the linear actuation of the springs without binding. Thus it is possible to have limited side loading and tilt. No external power source, neither air, hydraulic or electric is required. This automatic self-leveling feature causes Forced Ergonomics, or a system that will always be at the right height without operator input. The Qest spring change system makes altering the weight capacity of the unit as simple as pushing or pulling a pin. Standard units accommodate many types and sizes of skids, pallets or containers. Units can be serviced with pallet trucks, stackers, hoists or fork trucks.
