The National Safety Stand-Down, June 2-6, is a voluntary event for employers to reinforce the importance of fall prevention and recognition of fall hazards to their employees. OSHA is partnering with key EHS organizations to sponsor this week long stand-down and raise awareness and prevention of fall hazards in construction. Emilcott wants to help you and your company join in this initiative and encourages you to host a safety toolbox talk each day of the Stand-Down! We are providing materials and references in this packet for your use in this initiative. Participate in the National Safety Stand-Down now by downloading Emilcott’s five free “toolbox talks”, one for each day of the week! • Day 1 – Ladder Safety Inspections • Day 2 – Scaffolding • Day 3 – Mounting and Dismounting Heavy Equipment • Day 4 – Personal Fall Arrest System Equipment Inspections • Day 5 – Aerial Lift Scissor Lift Safety
