Since 1984, Medcor has provided occupational healthcare services to improve the health, safety and overall wellness of businesses across North America. We partner with businesses to conveniently meet their employee healthcare needs onsite with medical staff or remotely via telehealth.

In our onsite clinics, we treat 89% of visits in-house, navigating employees with more sophisticated needs to the proper level of care. Medcor customizes onsite clinic and telehealth solutions to meet the needs of all businesses, from single sites to entire enterprises, standardizing best practices across organizations.

Medcor contracts directly with employers, charging a fixed fee rather than a per-service fee like the traditional healthcare system. When Medcor treats employees during a work-related or personal medical visit, no workers’ compensation or medical claim is generated, and our services are compatible with all insurance plans, provider networks and third-party administrators. The more our healthcare services are utilized as an alternative to traditional hospital, urgent care and primary care settings, the higher the return on investment for our self-insured clients. Medcor’s fixed fee billing structure eliminates the conflicts of interest inherent in traditional activity-based billing.

Our services include onsite clinics, mobile units, construction health and safety, injury triage, telemedicine, safety staffing and training, and employee wellbeing services. Onsite Employee Health Clinics
Medcor’s onsite occupational health and wellness services include injury prevention and treatment from injury through return to work. This includes ensuring regulatory compliance (including OSHA), support for environmental health and safety programs and medical surveillance. Medcor’s onsite clinics reduce employer costs and result in better physical outcomes for employees.

Employer Support Services
Managing employees’ health and wellness can be a challenge. To support employers, Medcor designed a suite of innovative programs to meet individual business needs, including: OSHA Reporting; Workers’ Compensation Case Management; Employee Wellness Programs; Medical Support Services; and Chief Medical Officer and Physician Consulting Services.

Drug & Alcohol Testing
Medcor delivers convenient drug and alcohol testing services to help companies during the hiring process or to ensure regulatory compliance. Medcor uses the latest technology, strict procedures and certified labs to ensure results are accurate. We can design and manage entire screening programs to meet clients’ unique needs.

Telehealth
Telehealth includes our 24/7 injury and illness triage service. Injury triage helps injured workers get the right care at the right time in the right place, saving on unnecessary care and costs and reducing workers’ compensation claims.

Construction Onsite & Mobile Clinics
Our onsite and mobile clinics serve complex construction projects with site-specific medical and safety needs and risks. A combination of onsite care and telehealth services reduce unnecessary offsite care and workers’ compensation claims, cutting overall costs. Our clinic staff and proprietary software provide the best care recommendations so injured workers can get the appropriate care quickly and get back to work safely.
