EDGE Fall Protection designs, engineers, installs and inspects fall protection systems for people who work at height, from overhead rigid rail in plants and hangars to railcar loading access, engineered guardrail and rooftop safety. Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, EDGE completes more than 100 installations a year across all 50 U.S. states with its own in-house installation team, and supplies and installs CSA-compliant systems in Canada.

Every project starts with understanding the work and engineering the system: hazard assessment, CAD design, load and fall clearance calculations, and documented specifications to OSHA 1910.28, 1910.29 and 1926.501, ANSI Z359 and IBC. Then our crew installs it, certifies the anchors and comes back for annual inspections.

What EDGE engineers and installs:
• Overhead fall protection: ceiling-mounted and freestanding rigid rail, bridge systems, swing arms and horizontal lifelines
• Railcar and truck loading fall protection: cantilevered rigid rail, T-frame lifelines, gangways and access platforms
• Engineered guardrail: wall-mounted, floor-mounted and parapet guardrail, plus non-penetrating rooftop guardrail (AccuFit and 360 Mobile Safety Rail)
• Loading dock gates, removable drop-in railing and forklift guardrail
• Industrial safety gates: EDGE E3 self-closing gate, mezzanine, pallet flow and ladder gates
• Safe access: crossovers, work platforms, metal stairs, fixed ladders and ladder fall arrest
• Roof hatch guardrail and skylight protection
• Custom-engineered AHU and chiller guardrail and davit cranes
• Annual fall protection inspections, anchor pull testing and certification, and site risk assessments
