The cage rule has changed. Under OSHA 1910.28(b)(9), cages no longer count as fall protection on new fixed ladders over 24 ft, and existing cages must be replaced with a ladder safety system or personal fall arrest system by November 18, 2036.

EDGE specifies the ladder, ladder fall arrest system, landing and self-closing gate at the top, then installs and documents the system. Ladder fall arrest can also be added to existing ladders.
