Active Fall Arrest

Product Overview

Active Fall Arrest

Horizontal lifelines, rigid rail, and swing arm systems for active fall arrest and fall restraint needs.

Fall Arrest, Fall Restraint, Fall Prevention. Three terms that get used interchangeably and should not be.

**Fall prevention is passive. Guardrail, screens, and barriers stop a fall from being possible. No training, no PPE, no user decision.
**Fall restraint ties the worker to an anchor with a lanyard short enough that reaching the edge is impossible. The fall never starts.
**Fall arrest catches a worker after the fall begins, and must account for free-fall distance, deceleration, harness stretch, and the clearance to the surface below.

The hierarchy of controls prefers prevention, then restraint, then arrest. We lead with passive guardrail wherever it fits and reserve active systems for the work that genuinely happens beyond it.

We engineer, furnish, and install active fall arrest solutions—free standing swing arms, column fold‑away arms, freestanding and ceiling‑mounted rigid rails, portable/mobile anchors, ladder fall arrest systems, and horizontal lifelines—customized to your structure, spans, and simultaneous user counts. We offer turnkey installation with our in-house team or supply-only, serving all 50 states (now also Canada), and we equip your architects and engineers with free specs and instant-access REVIT files. We start with a site visit and risk assessment to calculate required fall clearance, verify anchorage capacity, and decide when freestanding, no‑modification systems are the right fit; when tying into existing steel, we provide stamped calculations rather than assumptions. To keep your operation compliant, our inspection and testing team performs annual competent‑person inspections and five‑year pull testing of certified anchorages, delivering a documentation package with photos, measurements, and test results for your EHS file. We respond fast (three touch points within 36 hours) and provide ongoing anchor certification and support so your people can work safely wherever tasks extend beyond guardrails.
